What stops amine foaming in gas sweetening units?
Foaming is usually driven by particulates and hydrocarbon carry-in that accumulate in the amine loop. Correct filtration on the rich amine stream, sized for the real solids load rather than a nominal figure, removes the stabilising particles, protects the solvent inventory, and keeps the contactor performing. How do you remove hydrocarbons from produced water?
Clarysorb OFW oil-adsorbing media removes up to 99 percent of dissolved and dispersed hydrocarbons, ahead of discharge or reinjection. For free oil, coalescers do the bulk separation first; the combination meets discharge limits without chemical dosing.
Can elements survive offshore and high-temperature duty?
