Technology / Clarysynt Sintered Porous Metal

Metal you can filter through. Made here, not imported.

Clarysynt sintered porous metal handles what polymers cannot: 900 C, aggressive solvents, pyrophoric catalysts, decades of backwash cycles. Gopani is India's only manufacturer of sintered metal filters, and that single fact changes the economics of every system built on them.

The one claim no Indian integrator can copy.

Catalyst recovery systems across India are assembled around imported sintered candles, and every one of them inherits the import's cost, lead time, and replacement dependency. Clarysynt media is powder-pressed and sintered in our own plant. When an element needs replacing at 2 am before a batch, the answer is in Ahmedabad, not in a customs queue.

This page absorbs sintered.gopani.com: one domain, one authority, one engineering team behind the technology.

Why does in-house sintered media manufacturing matter?

Every other Indian catalyst-recovery integrator builds systems around imported sintered candles, typically German-made. That means import cost, import lead times, and a single point of supply risk inside your critical process. Gopani manufactures Clarysynt media in Ahmedabad: India's only in-house sintered metal filter manufacturing. Replacement elements, custom geometries, and engineering answers come from one plant, in days.

What alloys and ratings are available?

Standard elements in SS 316L and SS 304, with Hastelloy C-276, Inconel 600, Monel 400, Titanium, and Zirconium for aggressive chemistry. Filtration ratings from 0.5 to 25 micron with custom ratings on request, and service temperatures from cryogenic (minus 150 C) up to 900 C depending on alloy.

How long do sintered elements last?

Sintered metal is a regenerable technology: elements clean in place by reverse-flow gas or liquid backwash and return to service. In continuous catalyst recovery duty, element life of 5 to 10+ years or 5,000+ batches is the design basis, which is where the total cost of ownership argument against disposable media is won.

What product forms does Clarysynt come in?

Filter cartridges and candles, ultrafine porous tubes, spargers and carbonation stones for gas-liquid contact, sintered discs, and engineered elements for HPLC and pneumatic components. If your geometry is not standard, we sinter to drawing.

If your process breaks polymer filters, talk to us.
