Ask any competitor one question: who makes your candles?
Every other Indian catalyst-recovery integrator answers with a German import. Gopani answers: we do. In-house Clarysynt media means your recovery rate, your spare elements, and your custom geometries are engineered and manufactured in Ahmedabad, at Indian lead times and INR pricing, with the media maker and the system builder in the same building.
Catalyst recovery: direct answers
How much catalyst does the system actually recover?
Up to 99 percent single-pass recovery of precious metal catalyst, using asymmetric dual-layer Clarysynt sintered elements as a positive surface barrier. Single-pass operation matters: it eliminates the multi-pass recirculation that older systems rely on, which shortens batch time and reduces catalyst attrition. For your specific slurry we establish the recovery figure in a bench or pilot trial before you commit.
How does this compare with sparkler filters or centrifuges?
Sparkler filters and open filtration steps expose the batch and the operators, lose fines below their retention capability, and consume filter aids and cloths every cycle. A closed sintered-metal circuit captures fines down to 0.5 micron, recovers the heel through an integrated heel filter, needs no filter aids, and returns the same elements to service for thousands of batches. The saving is counted in recovered metal, not in filter spend.
Can it handle Raney nickel safely?
Yes. Raney nickel duty runs as a fully closed circuit under nitrogen blanketing, with no atmospheric exposure of the pyrophoric catalyst at any point in the cycle, including cake discharge. Safety interlocks are engineered into the automation, not left to procedure.
What does maintenance look like over the years?
Elements regenerate in place by reverse-flow gas or liquid backwash on an automated cycle. Design life is 5 to 10+ years or 5,000+ batches per element set. Because Clarysynt media is manufactured in-house in Ahmedabad, replacement elements and rebuild support never wait on an import.
