Depth that actually gets used.
Most spun cartridges are one density from skin to core, so the outer surface does all the filtering and the inner media rides along unused. RO Protect media is blown in graded zones: coarser fibres outside capture the bulk load, progressively finer zones finish the job. Every millimetre of depth earns its keep, and the cartridge reaches terminal pressure drop two to three times later.
Construction is thermally bonded, binderless, with no adhesives or surfactants: zero media migration and zero extractables into your process. Every batch is verified with bubble point, differential pressure, and efficiency testing at our Ahmedabad plant.

What makes graded-density melt blown cartridges last longer?
A uniform-density cartridge loads all particles at its surface and blinds quickly. RO Protect cartridges are melt blown in multiple zones, coarser outside and finer toward the core, so larger particles are captured in the outer zones and the full depth of the media does the work. That structure holds 2 to 3 times the dirt of standard PP spun cartridges before reaching change-out pressure drop.
Which RO Protect variant should I choose?
Ultra is the value option for general duty from 1 to 25 micron at up to 60 C. Eco adds thermal stability to 80 C. Eco Plus doubles dirt-holding capacity at 1, 5, and 10 micron. Prime is the premium industrial grade at up to 80 C with seven end-fitting options. Extreme is the 0.5 micron, weld-free, FDA 21 CFR 177 compliant choice for food and pharma duty. Are melt blown cartridges suitable ahead of RO membranes?
Yes, that is the range's core duty and the reason it carries the RO Protect name. Correct prefiltration reduces silt density index and turbidity before the membrane, which extends membrane life many times over the cartridge cost. For high flow rates, consider high flow formats to cut element count and change-out labour.
What lengths and fittings are available?
Standard lengths run 9.75 to 70 inch including jumbo diameters, with DOE and six other end-fitting options on Eco Plus, Prime, and Extreme. Media and core are virgin polypropylene, thermally bonded with no binders, adhesives, or surfactants, so there is zero media migration and zero extractables in service.
