When does a pleated cartridge beat a depth cartridge?

When efficiency at a fine rating, long service life, or membrane-grade media is the requirement. Pleating packs a large media area into the same 2.5 inch envelope, so the element loads slower and runs longer at low pressure drop. For heavy bulk solids ahead of it, a depth cartridge or bag filter is the better first stage; most well-designed trains use both.

Which Clarypleat media do I need?

PP for general aqueous and chemical duty. PES for sterile aqueous applications. PTFE for aggressive solvents, gases, and high temperature. PVDF for sterilizing-grade duty with broad compatibility. Nylon 66 where chemical compatibility with specific solvents matters. Send the fluid and the target rating; we confirm media and variant against the compatibility data.

Are Clarypleat cartridges suitable for pharmaceutical use?

The range is built with FDA-compliant materials and pre-washed construction, and membrane variants cover sterile-adjacent aqueous and solvent duty. What sizes are available?

Standard lengths 10 to 70 inch in standard and jumbo diameters, with an engineered high-strength polypropylene core. High-flow duties are covered by Clarypleat HF and the high flow family with retrofit-compatible formats.
